Chillmax Pillow

This mat stays cool for only a few hours. (In my case 2-3 hours on a summers night).

It does keep you cool to start with but then over time when you lay down and place your face and head on this mat, your body heat (from face and head) gets absorbed by the gel and it slowly becomes warmer and starts to turn into a warm mat (after losing its coolness).

It progressively gets warmer making it uncomfortable to sleep with. In my case the warm mat woke me up each time I used it.

You get a bit hot and sweaty on the head which made me remove it from my pillow to cool down.

I used it a few different nights but it was the same experience those two other times.

Its cooling effect is limited if you put it in your pillow case. I laid it on top of my pillow when I slept to get the full cooling provided by the mat.

Im not sure how it would work for any other situation, but as long as this gel can absorb heat then its cooling affect is very limited.

So does it work? Yes, it does but for a limited time!
