Miracle microwave cleaner & deodoriser
Believe it or not, you can clean and deodorise your microwave like magic using just a lemon. Here’s how it’s done.
You'll need:
Small, microwavable bowl
½ cup water
1 large lemon
Clean dishtowel
½ cup water
1 large lemon
Clean dishtowel
Pour the water into the bowl.
Slice the lemon in two, squeezing the juice into the water.
Drop the lemon halves into the bowl.
Microwave on high for three minutes or so, until the liquid has begun to boil.
Allow to stand for 5 minutes – do not open the door.
The steam inside will loosen baked-on grime and food residue.
Open the door and wipe all surfaces clean, washing the turntable with hot water.
For any lingering grime, spray on some multi-purpose cleaner leave to stand for a few minutes, then wipe off.
Your microwave should now be clean and fragrant.
